Marshal Vasilyev Statue

The monument to Marshal Alexander Mikhaylovich Vasilyevsky is situated on Ussuriyskiy Boulevard in Khabarovsk. It measures 9 meters in height. The marshal is renowned for overseeing the campaign that led to the defeat of the Kwantung Army in August 1945, resulting in Japan's surrender agreement. The sculpture was designed by Russian artist Sergey Sherbakov. The monument was placed in the city where the command headquarters was stationed during World War II.
