Marshal A.M. Vasilevski Monument

In Khabarovsk, on Ussuriysky Boulevard, there is a monument to Marshal of the Soviet Union Alexander Mikhailovich Vasilevsky. It was opened on September 30, 2016. A bronze sculpture depicts the marshal standing full height on a cylindrical pedestal. Vasilevsky, twice Hero of the USSR, commanded Soviet forces during the operation against the Kwantung Army in 1945. The monument is located near the entrance to the park area of Lenin Stadium.
