Marshal Vasilyev Statue

Alexander Mikhailovich Vasilevsky's monument stands on Usirийский Boulevard in Khabarovsk. Its height is 9 meters. The marshal is famous for leading the operation that defeated the Kwantung Army in August 1945, which culminated in the signing of the surrender act by Japan. The sculpture was created by Russian artist Sergey Shcherbakov. The monument was installed in a city where the command headquarters was located during World War II.
