Yuri A. Gagarin Park

The park was originally named Industrial District Culture and Rest Park and renamed after Yuri Gagarin in 1980. During Gagarin's visit on May 29, 1962, a larch tree was planted there, becoming a local attraction symbolizing the space theme of the park. On its grounds there are pedestrian and bicycle paths, as well as various trees and shrubs planted.
