Far Eastern State Scientific Library

Far Eastern State Scientific Library is situated in Khabarovsk on Muravyova-Amsurskogo Street. It traces its history back to 1894 when its first library building opened. Over the course of its existence it changed names several times: it was initially a museum library, then became a regional scientific library, and later again turned into a state library. Today it serves as the largest book depository in the region and performs significant information and educational tasks.
