Komsomolskaya Square
Хабаровск, Комсомольская площадь
Komsomolskaya Square in Khabarovsk is one of the oldest city squares. Previously it was known as Sobornaya and Krasnaya Squares, and in the 1930s there stood the Uspensky Cathedral, which was subsequently demolished. Since 1956, a monument to the heroes of the Civil War in the Far East has been installed on the square, with its central element being a granite obelisk 22 meters high.
