Captain Yakov Dyachenko Monument

The bronze sculpture of Captain Yakov Dyachenko created by sculptor Alexander Rukavishnikov was installed on Shevchenko Street in the historical center of Khabarovsk. It commemorates the founder of the city and commander of the 13th East Siberian Line Battalion who played a key role in the landing of Russian troops. The monument was unveiled on May 30, 2008, to mark the 150th anniversary of Khabarovsk's founding, and it is part of the memorial system dedicated to this event.
