Harbin Monument

Erofei Pavlovich Khavatov Monument is located on the Pervaya Rechka Square in Khabarovsk and was unveiled on May 29, 1958. Sculptor A.P. Miltsin depicted the famous explorer as a Russian knight with a Cossack hat and armor. This sculpture greets visitors to the city after leaving the railway station. Although there is no exact image of Khavatov, the monument has become a symbol of the exploration of Priamurie in the seventeenth century.
