Voskresenskiy Cathedral

Voskresensky Cathedral is situated on Kremlevskaya Square in Vologda. The building constructed from 1772 to 1776 features a two-story five-domed baroque architecture church. During the period from 1954 to 1937 it housed an exhibition hall of the regional art gallery. After being closed in 1938 it was returned to the church in 2016 and re-consecrated as a cathedral. The cathedral is a federal heritage site and part of the ensemble of Vologda Kremlin.
