Vologda State Historical-Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve

Vologda State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve is situated in Vologda city on Sergey Orlov Street. It gathers architectural monuments of Vologda Kremlin, among which stands out Sofiyskiy Cathedral. Museum collections include icons, embroidery, painting, graphics, sculpture, jewelry and decorative-applied arts. Established in 1988, it also conducts scientific research and educational events. Previously, an exhibition hall of the picture gallery was part of the Kremlin ensemble.
