Gatehouse Avduyenskaya Church with Holy Gates

The Gatekeeper's Church of Vozdvizhenka is located in Vologda on Sergey Orlov Street. It is part of the Archiepiscopal Court and was consecrated in 1692. Nearby are Holy Gates with two arched openings. In September 1896, an episcopal antique repository opened near the church, housing over 1200 items of ecclesiastical utensils and historical artifacts. Initially wooden gates were replaced by a stone church between 1687-1691.
