Vologda Exile Museum

The "Vologda Exile" Museum is housed in an historical building constructed between 1876-1877. It features an exhibition dedicated to the stay of Joseph Dzhugashvili (future Stalin) who lived there from December 1911 until February 1912. A recreated room where he rented accommodation is displayed along with a wax figure of young Stalin. Additionally, the museum provides insights into the history of political exile in Vologda region, highlighting the lives and activities of other exiles.
