Museum of Forgotten Things

The Museum "World of Forgotten Things" is located in an historical wooden mansion from mid-19th century at Vologda, Leninskiya Street, house 6. It was opened in May 1991. The second floor is dedicated to the history of vologodsky portrait from the 18th to 19th centuries from noble estates of the province. On the first floor there is an exhibition telling about city culture and pre-revolutionary era lifestyle. Typical interiors of the 19th - early 20th century have been recreated: living room, dining room, children's room and study.
