Nikolay Rubtsov Museum

Nikolay Rubtsov Museum is located at house #36 on Gertsena Street, Vologda. It features a new exhibition with interactive installations and personal belongings of the poet: suitcase, shirt, typewriter, balalaika, mug, mittens. There are also pre-death poetry collections, diploma from Literature Institute and Rubtsov's letters on display. The exhibit relates to the life and works of the poet and serves as a branch of Vologda State Historical-Archaeological and Art Museum-Preserve. Nearby stands a monument of wooden architecture from 19th century to early 20th century — Sitnikov House with rich carvings.
