St. John the Baptist Church in Roshchen'e, Vologda City

The Stone Church of Saint John the Baptist in Vologda is situated on Predtechenskaya Street. The exact date of its completion and consecration is unknown. Later, the building was used by a children's theater. The church complex includes a warm church with an annex dedicated to St. Innokentiy Irkutskiy and a separate standing bell tower. The structure has been protected by the state since 1960. The return of the church after a long break was marked by the first liturgy in July 2006.
