St John the Baptist and St John Chrysostom Cathedral

The Cathedral of Archbishop John the Golden Mouth is located in Vologda at 6 Army Embankment, 105. It is a two-story building with a basement and five-domed structure. In November 2018 after restoration it was consecrated the main sanctuary of Saint John the Golden Mouth. There also operates the chapel of Saint Alexander Swirsky where liturgy was held for the first time in 85 years in 2015. The church is annexed to Church of the Intercession on Trade Street. Despite needing repairs, regular services for Women-Mironosits are held here.
