Vologda Church of the Meeting of the Lord

The Church of the Meeting of the Lord in Vologda combines features of Russian baroque and traditional 17th-century uzorochye. It is a columnless three-part building with a cubic volume strongly elongated vertically. The entrance to the church was previously located on the river side but was subsequently lost. The church is crowned with an apse-altar in the eastern part. Services are held regularly. The building is recognized as a federal cultural heritage site.
