Pyotr I House-Museum

The Pyotr I House-Museum is located in Vologda on Soviet Prospect Street, 47. It is a 17th century architectural monument featuring an exhibition dedicated to Pyotr's reforms and contributions made by Vologdans during the first quarter of the 18th century. Over 130 historical items, multimedia blocks and electronic information materials about the tsar's visits to the city are displayed here. The museum was opened in 1872 to commemorate the two-hundredth anniversary of Pyotr I.
