Archiepiscopal Courtyard

Archiepiscopal Court in Vologda — historical residence of Vologda archbishops since the 16th century. It includes buildings from various eras: the oldest stone corps of economists (1657-1659), fortifications built under Archbishop Simon during famine times, and Joseph's Corps (1769). Stone walls were constructed in 1671-1675. Today, some of the buildings are used by Vologda Museum-Preserve for exhibitions.
