Череповец, территория Соборная горка, 1
The Воскресенский cathedral in Cherepovets is located on Cathedral Hill. It is one of the oldest landmarks of the city, built between 1721-1756. The church stands out among the industrial landscape of the city with its architectural style. The first chapel at this site appeared as early as the XIV century thanks to monks and the blessing of Sergius of Radonezh. Inside the cathedral there is a gilded iconostasis, and the stone floors have been renovated after damage from improper use.
