Park name Leninsky Komsomola (Комсомольский парк)

Lenin Komsomola Park in Cherepovets is located on Maxim Gorky Street. In spring it is decorated with blooming apples from villages Maloe Yagano and in autumn it delights with golden leaves of maples, ash-trees and rowans from Abakanovo village surroundings. For creating the park plants were used from a farm near river Mjaks where there grew hazel bushes, hawthorns and lilacs. Construction started in 1958 by initiative of Cherepovets city council considering experience of Moscow and Leningrad parks.
