Памятник «Преемственность поколений» (Памятник металлургам)

In Cherepovets, on Metallurgov Square, there is a monument called " преемственность поколений ". The central composition features a bronze figure of a metallurgist and his small son wearing his father's helmet. Tourists often shake hands with the depicted metallurgist. The monument symbolizes the continuity of generations in heavy industry and was opened to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Severstal plant. Nearby stands a stele with commemorative inscriptions.
