I.A. Milutin Monument stands in the center of Milutina Square between Lenin Street and Soviet Avenue in Cherepovets. Adjacent are the Camero Theatre, Art Museum, and former Mariinskaya Girls' Gymnasium now called the Marriage Palace. Milutin ruled the city for over forty years during which Cherepovets grew into an important cultural, educational, and industrial hub of Russia.
