Historical and Regional Studies Museum

Historical and Regional Studies Museum in Cherepovets is situated at Lunacharsky Avenue, 41. Established in the 1870s and functioning for more than a century, it features displays illustrating local history and the lives of Cherepovtzy inhabitants. Children participate in exciting workshops creating folk dolls and pottery items. The museum is an essential component of the Cherepovets Museum Association, whose collections constitute a substantial segment of the regional museum holdings of the Vologda Oblast.
