Historical and Ethnographic Museum "Galhski Estate"

Historical and Ethnographic Museum "Galsky Mansion" is located in Cherepovets on the banks of the Sheksna River. It is an architectural monument of the 19th century opened in 2009 after years of restoration. The house features interiors of 37 rooms depicting the life of the nobility at that time, as well as authentic furniture and antiques. Surrounding buildings include a harness workshop, oil mill, round garden, stables, granaries and workers' cottages. Notably, there is a two-story granary with a unique two-level gallery. Regularly held cultural events include musical and poetic evenings.
