Nature House (Nature Museum)

Nature House in Cherepovets is located at Kommunistov Street, 42. It is one of the oldest city museums founded in 1920 under the name Local Nature Museum named after A.I. Herzen. Collections include entomological exhibits, remains of ancient animals such as mammoth and musk ox bones found during harbor construction at the mouth of Yagorba River in 1907, minerals, rocks, and herbaria. Since 2024, the exhibition has been enriched with aquariums featuring local fish species: pikes, roach, perch, trout, and sturgeon.
