Vereshchagin Museum House

Vereshchagin House-Museum is located in Cherepovets at Socialist Street, 22. It is a wooden architecture monument built in the 1830s and was the home of the Vereshchagins family for over half a century. It was here, on October 26, 1842, that famous battle painter Vasily Vasilyevich Vereshchagin was born. Today, the museum consists of two buildings where the interiors of the artist's childhood are recreated, as well as his works and reproductions are exhibited.
