Tsaritsyn Opera Volgograd State Theatre

Volgograd State Theatre "Tsaritsynskaya Opera" is situated at V.I. Lenin Avenue, 97. The building is a regional cultural heritage site and previously served as the Cultural House of the Krasny Oktyabr Factory. Operas and ballet classics from around the world are performed there. It was founded on February 13th, 2004. The ensemble includes opera soloists, ballet artists, choir and orchestra members. Among its performers are honored Russian artists and winners of international competitions. The theatre's name refers to the historical name of the city — Tsaritsyn.
