Volgograd Regional Library named after M. Gorky

Volgograd Regional Library named after M. Gorky is located at Mira Street, 15. It is the main scientific library of the region, opened for visitors on April 18, 1985. Here operates the regional center for access to resources of the Presidential Library. The institution traces its history back to Tsaritsyn City Public Library and was involved in the restoration of Stalingrad after World War II. During combat actions, the library suffered significant losses.
