Central Park of Culture and Rest

Central Park of Culture and Rest is situated in Volgograd and is an area linked to the city's history. From late 19th century until Stalingrad battle there existed Nobel Town where brothers Nobel developed oil production. During war times it hosted General Rodimtsev's command post. After the park was revived in 2017 memorials were unveiled and sculptures commemorating regional history were installed.
