River Terminal

Volgograd River Station is located on 62nd Army Embankment. It is the largest structure of its kind in Europe, built between 1967 and 1980. The building reaches a height of 47 meters with a width of 36 meters and a total length of 296 meters. Architectural dominion of Volgograd's central embankment combines the functions of a passenger port and concert hall of Volgograd Philharmonic Society. The first stage was put into operation on June 30, 1980.
