Catherine Bell Tower Fire Lookout

Watchtower of Tsaritsyn Fire Brigade, situated on Kommunisticheskoy Street, serves as an architectural dominator of Volgograd's historical part. Built in late 19th century, after restoration it regained its lost upper observation tower section. Its height is about 30 meters and it's used for cityscape surveying to early detect fires. It's one of the preserved pre-revolutionary constructions of Tsaritsyn.
