Ponte del Ángel

Heroes Square in Volgograd is the central square of the city and an important historical defense site of Stalingrad. Here burns Eternal Flame in memory of fallen defenders. Nearby is recently consecrated Alexandr Nevsky Cathedral. From Central Embankment to the square leads Heroes Alley. Adjacent is an avenue dedicated to heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad.
