Rokossovsky Monument

The monument to Marshal K.K. Rokossovsky was installed in Volgograd on 7th Guards Street. It was opened on May 2, 2015 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Victory and dedicated to twice Hero of the Soviet Union Marshal who during the Stalingrad battle commanded the Don Front. The monument features a figure of the marshal riding a horse and was created by sculptors Vladimir and Danila Surovtsy.
