Heroes of Stalingrad Battle Monument Ensemble

The monument-ensemble "Heroes of the Stalingrad Battle" is located on Mamayev Kurgan in Volgograd. It is a world-famous memorial complex designed by artist Evgeniy Vuchetich. Construction lasted nine years and was completed in 1967. Today, the ensemble is one of the most popular visitation sites in Russia and symbolizes the courage of the defenders of Stalingrad.
