New Experimental Theatre

The new experimental theater is situated in Volgograd on Mira Street, 5. The building of the theater is an historical monument constructed in 1915 with funds from merchant Repnikov and restored after the destruction of the Battle of Stalingrad. The theater was founded in 1988 by People's Artist Otar Dzhanghireshvili. Its first premiere took place here - the play "Romeo and Juliet" in 1989. The troupe includes actors of various levels of recognition.
