Old Sarai Museum-Reserve is located in Volgograd on Izobilnaya Street, 10. Established in 1765 by decree of Catherine II, Sarai colony is the world's largest preserved architectural complex in saxon baroque style. It features a unique German experimental library and the region's only kirk with a live organ. Visitors can learn about regional colonization history, see an old pharmacy, shops, wine cellar, and discover Russia's first mustard seeds planting.
