Memory Museum

The "Memory" Museum is located under Central Department Store on Victory Square. It opened in 2012 but is currently temporarily closed for reconstruction. Here, the interior of Paulus' headquarters has been recreated, where in January 1943 German General Field Marshal Paulus was captured along with 23 generals and hundreds of soldiers. This is one of the rare museums in Russia dedicated to exhibits from the Wehrmacht army.
