BC-31 Armored Caterer Memorial

Memorial " bronekater BK-31" is situated on the lower terrace of Central Volgograd Embankment. This vessel participated in defending crossings and convoys of ships during the Battle of Stalingrad. Lifted from the waters of Volga in 2017, the catamaran after restoration is exhibited outdoors in a special pavilion. The memorial's opening took place on July 26, 2020, on Navy Day. BK-31 was built in 1941 and belonged to the Volga Military Flotilla.
