All Saints Temple on Mamayev Kurgan

All Saints' Cathedral on Mamaev Hill is located within the memorial "Heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad" in Volgograd. Opened in 2005, construction was funded by local residents' donations. The main decoration of the cathedral are three handmade icons created by Astrakhan masters using ancient technologies. Groundbreaking took place on May 9, 2002 after a traditional procession.
