Spassky Cathedral

Spassky Cathedral is located at Sobornaya Street, 1A in Pyatigorsk. It was consecrated on December 14, 2012 by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and has since been the cathedral church of Pyatigorsk diocese. The temple was built on the site of the former Spassky Cathedral, which was destroyed in 1936. The first church was consecrated on May 31, 1869 under the name of Christ the Savior under the supervision of architect S. Upton.
