Kirov Avenue

Kirov Avenue is the main street of the central part of Pyatigorsk, formed in the XIX century for recreational walks and water treatments. In 1827, a shady lime alley was laid out according to the project of architects Bernardazzi. Today, along the street about 400 young limes have been planted, preserving the historical atmosphere. Originally, the avenue was called boulevard due to the presence of an alley.
