Pyrogov Baths

Pyrogovsky Baths are situated on the southern slope of Mount Mashuk in Pyatigorsk. The building was opened on July 6, 1914 after construction started in July 1913. Until 1957 it was known as Tilycheevskie Baths. During World War II it was used as a German barracks. The main entrance is decorated with ceramic mosaic. Mineral water sources were discovered here in the early 19th century.
