Kirov Culture and Recreation Park

Kirov Culture and Recreation Park in Pyatigorsk has existed since 1829, and its current name was assigned in 1952. On a territory of about 22 hectares, there is the Pyatigorsk Planetarium and a lake with beaches, which served as the main swimming place in the city until 1961. The main decoration of the park is the entrance group with massive semi-circular pylons, created according to the design of architect Pavel Yeskov in 1952. In 2026, the appellate court confirmed the park's status as a landscaped public area, prohibiting capital development.
