Mikhailovsky Gallery

Mikhailovskaya Gallery is located in Pyatigorsk, on the slope of Goryachaya Mountain near the road to the Chasm. Built in 1848, it originally had a wooden frame with an iron roof and a stone foundation. After the fire in 1992, the building was reconstructed, replacing the wooden walls with brick ones. Named after Grand Duke Mikhail Pavlovich, since 1925 the gallery has housed the Kurortny Museum, a federal cultural heritage site.
