Machuksky Forest Park

Mashuksky Forest Park is situated at the foot and slopes of Mount Mashuk in Pyatigorsk. There are three pedestrian routes here. The park combines urban areas with natural landscapes of Mashuk. Its broad-leaved forests include ash, oak, maple, hornbeam, lime and beech trees. Various types of plants can be found: steppe, subalpine, forest, semi-desert and salty ones. More than a hundred bird species inhabit the surroundings.
