Mashuk Forest Park

Mashuk Forest Park is located at the foot and on the slopes of Mount Mashuk in Pyatigorsk and is connected to the regional-level state natural reserve "Beshtau". Three walking routes have been laid out on the park's territory, and its flora includes ash, oak, maple, hornbeam, linden, beech, hawthorn, elder, and walnut. The forest park features steppe, subalpine, forest, semi-desert, and halophytic plants, including endemic species, and is home to about 100 bird species, including magpies, tits, woodpeckers, and hawks. The forest park borders the Beshtau Forest Park, forming a single natural zone.
