Chinese Pavilion

Chinese pavilion is situated on Goryachaya Mountain in Pyatigorsk. It is an ornate metal pavilon installed in 1976. From the observation deck there is a view of Pyatigorsk city, Mount Mashuk and Mount Beshtau. Previously, in 1902, according to architect A.N. Klepinin's project, the pavilion had a roof in the style of a Buddhist pagoda. Originally the rotunda stood in the "Tsvetnik" park but later it was moved closer to the site of former barracks. In 1862, in the "Tsvetnik" park, there was a wooden musical rotunda.
