State Museum-Reserve M.Yu. Lermontov

State Museum-Reserve of M.Yu. Lermontov is located in Pyatigorsk at Buachidze Street, 9. It was opened in 1912 and became a monument associated with the last months of the poet's life. The museum-preserve includes Lermontov's house in its original form, one of few such memorial houses in Russia. Today it comprises several historical buildings reflecting the atmosphere of the writer's stay in Pyatigorsk.
