Elsa's Cottage

Elsa's Dacha is situated on the picturesque slope of Mount Mashuk in Pyatigorsk. This building resembling a medieval castle is made of yellow brick and adorned with towers, terraces and balconies. The mansion built in the style of pseudo-romantic eclecticism included about 62 rooms. At one time there was a tramline leading to the gap. The place got its name after Elsa Gukasova.
