Pyatigorsk, Machuk Ridge
The pavilion "Aeolus Harp", built in 1831 by architects Bernadazzi, is one of the iconic viewpoints of Pyatigorsk. Located on the spur of Mount Mashuk, it offers magnificent views of the city and the surroundings of the Caucasian Mineral Waters. The name is linked to the ancient Greek myth about Aeolus, god of winds, whose name is reflected in the name of a musical instrument that produced melodic sounds under the influence of wind inside the pavilion. This place has long been a symbol of the resort and attracts many tourists.
