Togliattilino Puppet Theatre "Pilgrim"

The Togliatti Puppet Theatre "Pilgrim" is located on Freedom Square in the historical building of the former Culture Palace built in 1958. Founded in 1973 by People's Artist of Russia Roman Rents, the theatre has produced over a hundred performances including "The Tale of Bygone Years" (2019) nominated for the prestigious Golden Mask award. The theatre is known for its productions suitable for audiences of all ages as well as adult viewers. In 2007, the first festival of puppet theatres of the Volga region was held here and "Pilgrim" has been recognized as one of the best theatres in Russia several times.
