Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral

The Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral in Tolyatti is located at Revolutions Street, 19. The cathedral was consecrated on August 19, 2002 and can accommodate up to 5,000 people simultaneously. The architectural project was developed by Moscow architect Dmitry Sobolev in the ancient Russian style. Inside there is a mosaic floor made of 12 types of marble, while the facade is illuminated externally. There is also a free children's educational center operating within the temple. An icon "All-Mighty Queen" (a copy donated by monks from the Vatopedi Monastery, Mount Athos) decorates the interior space of the cathedral.
